Argentina are cruising through their qualifying group in the South American C Qualifiers. They are top with 20 points from 9 matches and enjoy an 8 point lead over the side in 6th which is where they would need to finish to not qualify. They have struggled slightly in friendlies, with some huge amounts of travelling for games, especially their match at Saudi Arabia where they drew 0-0.
Sweden have been very impressive in recent friendlies also, winning 3 in a row by an aggregate score of 8-3.Sweden are aiming to qualify for the WC2014 via a tough qualifying group that includes Germany. They are currently second with 7 points from 3 matches having drawn with Germany away in their last match. That result will have filled them with confidence and they will feel they can run Germany very close for the automatic qualifying spot.
