Italy boss Cesar Pradelli will have both Ac Milan forward El Shaaraway and Balotelli in his squad along with Giovinco and the ageless Pirlo in Midfield. With a team made up of seasoned pro's such as Pirlo, Buffon , Montilivo and young guns like the pair of Ac Milan strikers its easy to see why Italy have won three of four in the World Cup Qualifying campaign.
The Netherlands manager Louis Van Gaal will use this friendly as a way to try out his bench players with the like of Sneijder, Van Persie, Robben all not included in the squad. Huntelaar will lead the line for the Dutch with Dirk Kuyt in assistance. I also expect to see Tim Krull ( Newcastle United ) and Mart Vorm (Swansea City ) to get a half each. The dutch have scored thirteen goals in the last five outings drawing one and winning four.
These friendly games are impossible to predict. Managers tend to play fringe players and try out different formations and we really wont be gettin 100% from players especially because all the top leagues have fixtures this weekend and the Champions League returns next week. Its a ridiculous time to have international fixtures. With that said I think we see both teams come out and play a bit in the first half and I expect to see both teams find the net. I wont be betting on it myelf as I stay away from friendly internationals.
